Simon is a dedicated family man and committed/committable ‘Foxes’ (Leicester City Football Club) season ticket holder.

Founding NetXtra in 1995, Simon used his hands-on experience in software development and infrastructure to build the company’s reputation for finding solutions where others have failed.
Outside of the office, Simon is lucky enough to enjoy life on a farm with his wife and two daughters, with the occasional game of hockey thrown in.

Stephen has been with NetXtra since 2001.  Working across a multitude of clients and disciplines has given him a breadth of knowledge and experience to identify and develop ideal solutions. Outside of the office, Stephen is changing nappies, pretending to be his daughters pony, and has a fascination with orangutans.

Scott has been with NetXtra since 2012. With a career spanning various IT sector disciplines, Scott is uniquely equipped to identify issues that can be addressed through applying strategic digital solutions. Outside of the office, Scott loves spending time with his wife and boys with the odd bit of triathlon training thrown in.

Simon joined NetXtra in 2015 with experience in Java software development, security research, test and diagnostics. Now Head of Operations, Simon oversees the developers and project managers in delivering an exceptional service.  Simon and his wife are avid fans and season ticket holders of Charlton Athletic F.C.

Melissa joined NetXtra with the ‘mi’ acquisition in 2016, having been part of the ‘mi’ team since 2014. Melissa has spent much of her career working across various marketing disciplines both agency and client side, loving the strategic and creative nature of what she does. Outside of the office Melissa is a dedicated football mum who enjoys Zumba and indulging her creative talents!

Joining NetXtra in 2008, Liz is the beating heart of the company, performing a wide range of vital functions such as HR and accounts in her capacity as office manager. Liz loves spending her free time with her family and dog, enjoys shopping and is a keen theatregoer. 

Fenella Andrews

Project Manager

Fenella joined NetXtra in 2010. Enjoying the varied mix of clients her role at NetXtra offers, Fenella excels in identifying and meeting their requirements through the CMS and integration projects she manages . Fenella has a deep love of music which permeates most of her free time where she is involved in running a small choir and acts as publicity officer for the Ipswich Choral Society.

Stuart joined NetXtra in 2015, bringing with him considerable experience in generating leads, writing proposals and promoting local and national digital agencies. Outside of the office, Stuart and his wife are kept busy by their young family. Stuart is a keen football commentator as well as organising and goal keeping for the NetXtra football team. His 'Dad' jokes are legendary.

Joining the NetXtra ecommerce team in 2017, Jack works on the Magento platform with occasional forays into the world of WordPress. Jacks move to NetXtra was motivated by a desire to work with a dedicated team who he would enjoy spending his days with! Jack is a dedicated doggy daddy to ‘Pup’ Kylo (Ren), and in his spare time likes breaking (and fixing) things to understand how they work.

Joining NetXtra in 2014, Lewis loves getting stuck into the logic behind a project to use his wealth of knowledge and  vast array of skills to develop the right system for each client. Outside of the office, Lewis is gainfully employed by his wife undertaking DIY tasks, enjoys keeping fit and eating out.

Michael joined NetXtra in 2015 after graduating with a Masters Degree in Computer Science. He enjoys problem solving and getting to grips with different challenges involved in integrating management systems for clients. Outside of the office Mike enjoys a good curry, playing football for the NetXtra team, training at the gym and going to the cinema.

Richard joined NetXtra with the ‘mi’ acquisition in 2016, having been part of the ‘mi’ team since 2005. Richard has more than 18 years’ experience in working with a variety of databases and programming languages applying his knowledge to innovate solutions, tackle and resolve issues. Richard used to enjoy exploring new places, but now loves spending time with young family, and can recite every word of the Pontipine rhyme by-heart!

Being told that the role of Project Managers within NetXtra was probably the most challenging in the business, Matt joined NetXtra in 2017 with incredible energy and enthusiasm. With an impressive history of managing technical projects, Matt has fit right into the NetXtra family and has hit the ground running, even scoring for the NetXtra football team on his debut! Outside of the office Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, keeping fit and socialising with family & friends.

Mike has been with NetXtra since 2012, and with a vast working knowledge of all our bespoke systems, is the go-to-guy to get complex issues resolved. His experience in working with various systems from servers and networks to custom PHP and bespoke CMS, ideally positions him as a fantastic support to our team and clients. Outside of the office, Mike is a family man who has tamed his 90’s raving antics to tending his bonsai collection.

Len joined NetXtra with the ‘mi’ acquisition in 2016, having been part of the ‘mi’ team since 2000. Len’s been involved in the many aspects of web and database development virtually since the internet’s advent!  Outside of the office, Len enjoys time with his family, travel, photography, and touring and showing his personally customised VW campervan.

Barry joined NetXtra in 2016 as the youngest member of our team. He quickly established himself in our front-end development team, and has also utilised his experience of WordPress to deliver client projects.
Barry loves listening to music from bands such as Saxon, Ensiferum and Metallica, watching movies and playing games such as Destiny, Call of Duty, Assassins Creed and Witcher on his PS4!

Phil has been with NetXtra since 2011. As a front-end developer Phil loves creating elegant solutions with intuitive user experience as a core value. Outside of the office, Phil loves cycling and enjoys the experience of travelling to exotic lands and soaking up the culture.

Joining NetXtra in 2007, Mark has worked on hundreds of websites and has extensive experience in every aspect of bespoke CMS development. Mark is really motivated by creating tools that clients find a pleasure to use. Outside of the office, Mark is a keen movie goer and Star Wars aficionado with a weakness for Cadbury’s mini eggs!

Jason joined NetXtra with the ‘mi’ acquisition in 2016, having been part of the ‘mi’ team since 2007. Jason has a BSc (Hons) (1st class) in Software Engineering, is an Incorporated Engineer and trained QA lead auditor with vast experience. His current focus is on the bespoke development and enhancement of the Magento ecommerce platform. Jason is a dedicated freemason, and enjoys sunny holidays, DIY, electronics and engineering.

Simon joined NetXtra in 2017 as Business Development Manager heading up growth for NetXtra Ecommerce. He has been immersed in digital strategy, web development and ecommerce for over a decade, working with brands such as; Tesco, The Cabinet Office, Harvey Nicols, New Covent Garden Food and 3M. Outside of work Simon can be found playing tennis (badly) and generally enjoying life in rural Suffolk with his fiancée.

Jonny joined NetXtra’s Java team in 2017 looking for the opportunity to apply his coding wizardry to the web environment. With a BSC in Computer Science with Software Engineering, his skills have been honed in the fire of application development for London based agencies. Jonny’s unique skills include unicycle riding and solving a Rubiks cube in a minute! He and his fiancée have a furry family of 5 pets.

Joining the NetXtra team in 2017 as our Magento guru and Head of eCommerce Development, Tait is an experienced Magento developer and eCommerce consultant. Born in Los Angeles, now resident in Norwich, Tait is a coffee connoisseur, never far from a freshly ground beverage! Outside of the office Tait enjoys spending time with his young family.

David has been part of the NetXtra team since 2013. As an experienced developer he has an appreciation of all aspects of the solutions we provide, and has specialised in providing the infrastructure solutions and support needed to propel NetXtra and our clients into the future. Outside of the office, David enjoys travel adventures and has questionable taste in 90’s pop music!

Dan joined NetXtra in 2017 after graduating with a BSc (Hons) (1st class) in Applied Computing. Dan's skills as a full stack developer span multiple platforms, languages and technologies, his adaptable nature makes him a fantastic asset! Outside of work Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, tinkering with electronics, programming micro systems, and going on sunny beach holidays across Europe.
