With an already impressive portfolio of union-based clients, including Equity, PCS and BECTU, NetXtra was chosen to design, develop and deliver a new website for the National Union of Journalists (NUJ). The website is integrated with the NUJ’s membership database, allowing members to access a range of personalised information.

In providing a more aesthetically appealing platform on which to inform and communicate, the new site is an effective channel for the NUJ to better leverage the union’s messages and campaigns. It is also a place for them to more proactively promote NUJ membership and for the first time ask potential members to join the union online.

The new website offers simple and well-structured navigation to make union information more accessible and easier to find. Familiar pages, such as News, Events and Campaigning feature far more prominently, thereby enabling members and other visitors to navigate directly to the information they require.
