Online and digital marketing communications experts NetXtra has recently launched a new eye-catching membership website for the National Hairdressers’ Federation (NHF) - the UK’s largest employer led trade association for hairdressing and beauty salon owners. NetXtra has delivered an attractive and effective new site - - which has been fully integrated to ASI iMIS CRM and provides NHF members with a whole range of new and interactive online facilities.

The site, which was highly commended at the recent MemCom Awards, showcases the great talents within the hair and beauty industry and delivers member and hairdressing information in a clear and concise way.

Stephanie Munno, Director of Membership Development at The NHF said “The new website design really is a fantastic representation of who we are and what we stand for at The NHF. NetXtra’s ability to both integrate our back-office system and translate our requirements into an informative, interactive and functional platform really shows how well they balance creative web design with effective site functionality.”

The new website offers members and other site visitors with many new features, including an area providing information on courses and continuing professional development to industry personnel. It also offers a useful search facility for people wanting to locate their nearest hair salon, displaying its exact location on a Google Map. The site also integrates with all of the NHF’s social media platforms for a seamless online network of communication.

Information on upcoming NHF events is displayed within a newly designed area of the site. Regions and networks also have their own dedicated areas on the site where members can access localised information such as news and events

Since its recent launch, the new site has been well received by NHF members and other stakeholders, and is already leveraging the organisation in ways it hadn’t before. It’s also providing members and other users with a far more effective way to associate and communicate with the NHF.
