This year NetXtra welcomed delegates to the FAB 18 Conference, Awards and Exhibition from our exhibition stand right by the entrance!

We enjoyed the discussions with awarding organisations about the challenges they and the industry at large are facing. Keynote sessions were focussed on meeting the needs of students and employers, considering the learner journey and technical education reforms. Seminar content encompassed standards, opportunities, exporting, the impact of technology, end-point assessment, transfer conditions, T level implementation, reformed apprenticeships, conditions and technical evaluation, engaging with constituency MPs, improving digital skills and understanding employment status.

It was great to meet Tom Bewick, FAB's new Chief Executive, and hear his passion for AOs, education and policy reforms. The awards evening celebrated the achievements of some remarkable organisations, teams and individuals with Sports Leaders UK nominee Luke Rees walking away an inspirational winner of Learner of the Year.

We look forward to continuing our work with the awarding sector, with the launch of the new NEBOSH website in the coming month and their new Course Provider Interface in the Spring. It's great to see technology facilitating improvements, efficiencies and progression in the awarding sector.
