With 95% of UK households owning a mobile phone, having a mobile engagement strategy should be a key marketing consideration for any business. Melissa used the webinar to discuss how to make a more personal connection with your audience through use of connected data before exploring the reasons why developing an omnichannel strategy for mobile is important. Compelling statistics around each channel were provided prior to mapping out the resource that was needed to deliver each, determining the target and purpose of channel campaigns, before focusing on purpose and message. Melissa then spoke briefly about building those channels into an engagement campaign and how to optimise campaigns across channels. User journeys were then explored (both positive and negative) with the repercussions on engagement emphasising that it takes a connected business approach to succeed in positive engagement.
