British Water Ski and Wakeboard (BWSW) has this month launched their new IRIS Integra integrated website - - a site designed, developed, integrated and launched by membership digital and online marketing experts NetXtra.

The new website for BWSW, the governing body of the sport, has been supported through investment by Sport England as part of a modernisation programme. It provides the ideal platform for BWSW to encourage more people into the sport, extending its reach to more adults and disabled people, as well as improve work with clubs, facilities, coaches, volunteers and other partners. It also allows BWSW to offer and further increase demonstrable membership value to potential and existing BWSW members. The site will also become the UK’s central information portal for news, reviews, videos and everything related to water skiing and wakeboarding.

Patrick Donovan, BWSW Chief Executive Officer, said “BWSW is currently going through a period of vast transformation and as a result we have the opportunity to really extend our reach out to anyone with an interest in our sport. The website solution delivered by NetXtra really enables us to go out and achieve this and connect with members and other stakeholders as never before.”

The new website allows members and clubs to log in, amend contact information, join and renew membership online, enter events, view their qualifications, change their preferences for newsletters and more. It also helps capture data and ensures that BWSW communicates with its members more appropriately and present a better shop window for the sport.

With fully integrated Google Maps, the website also promotes BWSW’s network of clubs, cable sites and ski schools and signposts newcomers to the sport and to clubs in their local postcode area.

Ultimately, the new site provides a more modern “face” for the organisation and allows various BWSW stakeholders to more effectively interact and communicate with us and each other.
