NetXtra developed the site and performed the integration work necessary to merge the website and Integra CRM and provide the functionality required to fully realise the Institute’s digital goals.
In order to maximise event bookings NetXtra designed and built the IoF event module to be smooth, simple and seamless.
The events section of the website now allows members to search for events and filter by topic, date and location, giving members the best chance of finding an appropriate event to attend. Members also receive notifications of events specific to their registered interests via email and through calls to action in the members’ dashboards.
The entire events module is driven from CRM data from Integra CRM. The system is using online services (OLS) pages with NetXtra styling for the front end to ensure that the user experience is consistent throughout the booking process.
Another key part of this project was enabling the Institute’s committee members and other groups to post their own content to specific areas of the site. The NetXtra CMS was designed to provide exactly this type of functionality with our workflow module. Now committee members have the ability to create events, upload documents and add news items subject to approval from an IoF administrator.
The new IoF responsive design was intended to bring the quality and functionality of the desktop site to mobile and tablet users. The responsive design has been implemented throughout the entire site, ensuring that mobile visitors experience exactly the same functionality as desktop visitors.
