New Cambridge Network membership website by netXtra providing focal point for shared business knowledge and opportunity

netXtra has recently launched a new redesigned website for Cambridge Network - an organisation bringing people from business and academia together to share ideas, and encourage collaboration and partnership for shared success.

With a continually increasing membership, including over 1,000 corporate members, the new website - - underpins every service and activity offered by Cambridge Network, and is a popular, centralised resource for regional recruitment, business learning, events and networking.

As well as being able to post their own corporate news, jobs and events, members can manage their own company profile and use the platform to better describe their services.

A busy and increasingly popular area of the site is the ‘Recruitment Gateway’ section, a searchable and categorised recruitment area where Cambridge Network members can post and manage their vacancies and career opportunities, as well as view C.V’s uploaded by potential employees. This is proving highly beneficial to all users; employers are able to cost-effectively attract, consider and recruit new talent. Similarly, job seekers are able to market themselves to a wealth of organisations, from start-up to blue-chip, based in and around Cambridge.

In redeveloping the site, netXtra has integrated the ‘Learning Collaboration’ area, a valuable online facility that allows all Cambridge Network's members to collaborate and organise, purchase and share training and management development opportunities for their staff. Around 300 courses per year are shared between members who benefit from cost savings, as well as opportunities to mix with their peers. Courses can be booked online.

Hilary Laing, Chief Operating Officer at Cambridge Network, said “We are delighted with the response we’ve had to the new and enhanced website facilities. The new website was launched by netXtra in conjunction with Cambridge Network’s refreshed e-newsletter delivery system - a solution also updated by netXtra. The weekly newsletters go to over 4,000 subscribers and allow Cambridge Network to highlight relevant topics and keeps subscribers informed of the region’s latest company developments, including news, events and jobs.
