Fast delivery by netXtra is key to the launch of new Society of Biology website
Following the unification of the Biosciences Federation and the Institute of Biology, website development specialists netXtra has recently launched a striking new website – www.societyofbiology.org - for the newly consolidated Society of Biology – a site that was designed, developed and launched in less than eight weeks!
Being able to launch the new website within a short time frame was an essential requirement for the Society when choosing a suitable design and development agency. As a result, website development company netXtra was selected having demonstrated commitment and given full assurances on both delivery and functionality, as well as having a proven track record in developing effective and engaging membership websites.
Jon Kudlick the Society's Director of Membership, Marketing & Communications said, "Hats off to netXtra. We had a strict deadline to meet and needed to have our new members' website live in less than two months. The whole team at netXtra have done a fantastic job, delivering a superb new website both on time and within budget."
Whilst expedience was of utmost importance, no compromise was made on site functionality. The new content managed (CMS) website offers a wealth of scientific information supported by eye-catching, rotating imagery, as well as the capability for regional branches to update their own area, offering visitors information on local news and events. The site also provides a secure login area for the Society's membership and for journal subscribers. Full members can log in to a range of online features, including access to third party benefits and online access to the Society's Biologist magazine.
