To assist us in our continued expansion we are looking to recruit a web developer. The role is ideally suited for a quick learning candidate who has a track record in web development, an eye for detail and problem solving and wants to work across a number of different projects.
Ideally you will be educated to degree level but relevant skills and a proven track record are as important as your qualifications.
Technically we are looking for someone with proven ability to create clean, standards based, accessible and efficient websites so (X)HTML, CSS and JavaScript is essential. Ideally you should be experienced in JSP or one of the other common development languages such as PHP and ASP. It is desirable that you have experience with data retrieved and manipulated in SQL databases, especially MSSQL, Postgres or MySQL. You must be familiar with current web standards and accessibility requirements.
Candidates will be meticulous in their attention to detail and be focused on providing excellent customer service. You will proactively suggest improvements so that we achieve the end result more effectively and must therefore take a keen interest in contributing to the improvement of the business.
